Each drawer boasts English dovetail construction front and back, solid hardwood sides and come installed with smooth operating glides. The Urban Homemaker Pedestal Storage Bed is made with a 1/2 inch thick plywood platform for stability, and is available in a natural finish manufactured from solid North American Alder wood. The headboard and footboard are defined by bold paneling and top molding for a finished look. Product Review
I am satisfied with the bed though I don't believe it is worth what I paid for it. It is priced $500 too much. I am VERY UNSATISFIED with the delivery. The boxes were torn. Some crushed. Feet prints on the boxes. When I arrived at my home for the delivery the headboard was not packaged. Its box was destroyed. Luckily I haven't noticed any damage to the contents. I don't know if the damage ocurred between CA and NY or between NY and my home. I immediately emailed HumbleAbode about the packaging damage and nobody responded. Dave Regards Dave
