The practical design of the Sonoma Storage Platform Bed with Bookcase Headboard by Prepac combines extra large drawers for plenty of storage space with a slat support system. Wood slats positioned lengthwise distribute body weight evenly. Twin bed has 3 large drawers and the remaining sizes have 6 large drawers. The drawers positioned below the bed are easy to access and great for storing clothing, magazines, toys or other items. The Sonoma Storage Platform Bed with Bookcase Headboard requires only a mattress and can be used alone or combined with other bedroom storage furniture like Prepac bookcase style Headboards, Cubbie Bench and bedroom furnishings. The bed is made from composite woods, wood slats, metal supports and high quality hardware. This bed is shipped flat packed in cartons for easier handling. Adult Assembly Required!
The compartments of this 11" deep bookcase style Headboard provide ample space for bedside reading material, clocks and Teddy. The Twin Headboard has 2 compartments, Full/Queen has 3 compartments (the central compartment has an adjustable shelf) and King has 6 compartments.
Please note: the Sonoma Storage Platform Bed with Bookcase Headboard do not attach to each other. The bed is designed to rest against the headboard which is placed against the wall.
When ordering the Full size bed, the bed is designed to hold a standard Full size mattress but the Headboard is a standard Queen size.
The King size bed is available in Black finish only.

feedback on concord bed from atlantic furniture
This being a furniture purchase on the internet with no 'touch&feel' opportunity, we were anxious until we received the item. what delighted us was the elegant design (simple and robust) and ease of assembly. The drawers and the bed looked and felt it would last long.This entirely matched our expectation of storage space.

The trundle can not be easily pulled out (& this is an understatement) & is poorly made. The bed is okay but I wish there was an option for a headboard w/o a footboard in the single w/a trundle. The bed also needs to be about an inch higher.

Sonoma storage bed with bookcase headboard
The headboard that came with our bed is wider than the bed. and does not connect with the bed. Therefore it is not stable. The picture that I ordered from online showed the bed and headboard all one piece. This is a beautiful piece of furniture, but if we had known how long it would take to put it together we would probably not have ordered it.

It took some time to get all the pieces shipped to us-but we love the bed. We have a small room, so the drawers are a must for us. Thank you for all you help!!!

Bed with Drawers and Headboard
I bought the twin bed with drawers and mathing headboard for my 4 year old. We wanted something sturdy so that mom and dad can sit with him to read stories (and can withstand jumping). This bed works great for that. Nice design. I was disappointed that the headboard does not actually fit together with the bed. They are the same color, but the bed in .5 inches too wide to slide into the space between the headboard trim. This leaves a gap between the bed and headboard for a four year old to drop all sorts of things into. I filled it with a rolled up baby blanket. Overall, happy with the pieses although I would probably not have bought them together had I known they didn't fit together.
