Wesley Allen Iron Beds Information

Wesley Allen Iron beds are our premium, heirloom quality beds, hand made to order, with one of a kind, hand applied special finishes to approximate the look of an antique iron bed. These beds typically require a minimum of 12-15 business days to complete, some with very ornate or intricate ironwork may take a little longer. Most Wesley Allen orders reach their destinations in approximately 4 weeks; beds with fabric or leather upholstery, and all brass or nickel plated products require approximately 6 - 10 business weeks for production. As production time can vary on handcrafted, made to order items, we will keep you posted via email status updates as we receive them from the factory. Once the order has shipped, typical transit time is approximately 5-10 business days to any location within the contiguous United States, and the carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery appointment as soon as it reaches your local area.
 
Standard Delivery is by appointment, typically with a 4 hour window of time, during the business day, to the ground floor, street level entrance of your residence or building. Inside, upstairs or elevator delivery may be available for an extra charge, but is regionally specific and not available in all areas. This type of upgraded delivery requires the order be placed by phone, as all upgrade delivery arrangements must be made prior to the shipment of the order.
 
Starting with heavy gauge iron, Wesley Allen's skilled craftsmen meticulously weld each piece together paying close attention to detail. Then, each decorative casting is hand-poured directly over the welded iron to create an exceptionally solid one-piece bed. Each bed is then powder coated with the strongest bonding agent on the market today, their patented Durabond powder coat. Each bed is then hand finished, with multi-layered paint effects applied by their artisans, creating a one of a kind look that you will be proud to own for years to come, and pass down for generations. Wesley Allen Millennium frames are engineered using high gauge steel, and are considered to be the strongest in the industry. Carefully designed to ensure durability and strength, each frame supplies different points of stress support for maximum stability and mattress support.
