Delivery Appointment

Large item deliveries are done by appointment with a specific date and time frame prearranged by the carrier once your furniture arrives in your local area. Humble Abode will email your tracking information to you the day after your order ships. Smaller items shipped with UPS or FedEx and we will email you the tracking information but they are not delivered by appointment. If you are not present when UPS or FedEx arrives, they will sometimes leave the items in a safe place like a front porch or reception desk, depending on the drivers discretion. If the driver does not leave the package, a call tag will be left on your door so you can make alternate arrangements. A $50 fee will be charged for all scheduled appointment deliveries where the receiver is unavailable during the agreed upon time.
 
Once your shipment has arrived at the local delivery terminal, the delivery agent will schedule an appointment for delivery at the earliest opportunity during the following 10 business days.

If you wish to postpone the delivery of your order for more than 10 business days after the shipment's arrival at the local terminal, please contact Humble Abode as soon as possible within that time frame, as storage charges will become applicable on the 11th business day.  On the 11th business day, a minimum charge of $25.00 will apply, accruing at a flat rate of $25.00 per month, for every month of storage.
