Description

The Monterey Platform Storage Bed features an elegant raised panel headboard with subtle crown molding that matches the raised panel foot board and under bed storage drawers perfectly.
The Monterey Platform Storage Bed is also available with an open toe or flat panel footboard. Twin beds can accept two storage drawers or trundle bed. Full beds can accept two or four storage drawers or trundle bed. Queen and King beds can accept two or four storage drawers but do not accept the trundle beds. With so many options, there is a Monterey Platform Storage Bed that is right for you. Some assembly is required.
Please note: If using a box-spring and mattress on this bed with the side rails in the lowered position, under bed storage drawers or trundle can not be utilized.

Monterey Platform Storage Bed
Bed is nice for the price - far better than previous Big Box Swedish Bed. One drawer face was craked upon arrival, but a replacement request was processed rapidly and arrived in perfect condition. Good bed, great service!

Atlantic Furniture - Monterey Bed
I am very pleased with my new bed. The bed seems very sturdy, joints meet perfectly, and assembly was simple. We had a problem with the headboard and Humble Abode was very considerate in working through that. A new headboard was shipped quickly and I could tell there was extra care taken with that package to ensure no problems upon delivery.

Review - Monterey bed frame, queen
The queen-sized Monterey bed frame looks great, appears well made, and was easy to put together, all for a very reasonable price. Before this we had a box spring and mattress on a no frills metal frame; switching to the new frame without a box spring significantly cut down on the amount of wobbliness when one of us gets in or out, rolls over, etc. We got the optional rolling drawers which are HUGE -- we'll be able to keep a big quilt in one of them with room to spare. My only real complaint is that the support boards for the slats are made of low quality stuff; I don't care how they look because they're hidden, but one of them almost split from the pressure of tightening a screw into the barrel nut it was designed to hold. Overall, though, a great bed for a great price.
