The McKay Wood Platform Bed is available in a dark espresso finish called Castanho. The McKay Wood Bed is primarily made of solid Mirante wood and other Asian hardwoods. There is no particle board or plastic molds. It is all solid wood. Mirante wood is a hardwood grown in tropical Asia which has been used to make furniture for years. The horizontal lines of the McKay Wood Platform Bed headboard complement the low footboard.
