Love this bed!!!
I was very reluctant to buy this bed without seeing it in person but I am glad I did! My husband and I have had this bed for almost a year now and we both love it. My husband is 6ft 2 inches and 280 pounds so that will give you an idea of how stable it is. The drawers are spacious and sturdy as well.I can't say enough about this bed! I love it:)

Manhattan Wood Storage Bed by ACME
This bed looks great online, but the actual product was dissapointing. We had several delays in shipping, then on the delivery date we were delivered someone else's bed. This was not Humble Abode's fault, and they did have our bed on the truck. After the delivery guys dragged the boxes across my carpet, leaving black marks on the floor, we checked the boxes for damage and signed for it. When we put the bed together we had one long side and one short side, so the footboard would not attach. We were also missing two drawer knobs and one drawer had a gouge out of the wood that had been painted over. I called Humble Abode, was left on hold for 20 minutes, and reported the problems. I was assured thateverything would be promptly taken care of. I informed the CSR that I needed the replacement parts within a week because I had company coming. She assured me that would be no problem. Over the next two weeks Humble Abode emailed me several times asking for pictures of all the problems so they could send them to ACME. The pictures were not received, too small, unclear, or not what they needed. We had to take apart and put the bed back together two times to do pictures. This was very frustrating since my company had now arrived and was sleeping on the floor with bed parts stacked around them. Very embarrassing! Then Humble Abode said they would have the replacement side rails shipped, but they didn't mention the drawer or knobs. When I asked them about it they said I had never reported that or sent photos. Grrrr!!! I was also instructed to keep ALL the boxes (where?) until my issues were resolved. Finally we got the replacement rails two weeks later, a full two months after my order date. There are some scratches and dings in various places, but we are just going to live with it at this point. The bed seems too long for the mattress becaus ehtere is a 6 inch gap at the head or foot. Your pillow will fall through to the floor if you leave the gap at the top since there is no wood there. Poor design. There are no instructions as to what I am supposed to do with the wrong parts or all the boxes. This has been a time-consuming, frustrating, inconvenient, and embarrassing experience. I would not recommend doing business with ACME or Humble Abode. I also asked if I would receive a discount for all this hassle, and thy said they would give me one after replacement rails were sent. I have yet to receive a refund.
