Description
The Leighton Iron Bed by Fashion Bed Group combines elements of classical European Baroque design with the spare style of the Modernist period. Straight lined spindles are accented with ornamental scalloped castings. Round posts are completed with delicate foot castings and egg shaped finials. The Glazed Brass finish is perfected with a patina adding depth and character to the bed while still maintaining the gloss of a new brass bed frame. Warm a traditional or transitional bedroom space with touches of old and new style found in the Leighton Bed. The Leighton Iron Bed requires the use of a box spring in addition to a mattress.
Please note: When ordering the California King size Headboard Only, the headboard is a standard King size, shipped with adapter plates to accept a California King size bed frame. When ordering a complete bed (headboard, footboard & frame) in California King size, the headboard and footboard are a standard King size, shipped with a metal bed frame, adjustable to fit a standard California King size foundation and mattress.

brass bed
The brass bed we ordered came in less than the 10 day estimated time for delivery. I would rate the bed a '4' from your rating list below which is all we expected and wanted as it is for a guest bedroom. We did face some frustration in putting the bed together as the instructions for the bed frame construction came on a single page with instructions for the different sizes on the front and back of one page. The sizes were not identified anywhere on the sheet and that left us bewildered and frustrated until we finally realized which side was for the queen bed. Clearer identification at the top of the instruction would really save time and frustration. The instructions themselves were clear - just not which instructions went with the bed we had ordered. Your phone reps were most helpful and friendly. We found it very easy to track the bed on line after it was shipped and, again, were pleased with the speed of delivery. I would definitely recommend Humble Abode to friends and would definitely order from you again.

Metal Headboard
Altho the headboard was extremely lightweight, once installed it looked like an heirloom-quality headboard. Fit and finish are great; I'm extremely happy with the quality.

Brass Headboard, footboard and bed frame
We are very pleased with these products. It is as pictured on your web site. Good quality. One problem occured in delivery - the box containing the bed frame was not adequately addressed. It was lost for a time because there was no label on it denoting where or to whom it should be delivered. I'm still amazed it ever showed up at all - the truck driver worte my town on the box, because he knew we were looking for a bed frame, since he delivered the other items on the prior day. Once we received the frame, it went together very easily and I have to say, it was nice to see that the frame was actually made in the USA.

New Headboard
