in 1931 in the town of Kitchener, Ontario. The company originated as a manufacturer
of occasional tables and intricately carved wood frames for the Canadian
upholstery furnishings industry. Magnussen Home has continued to grow and
prosper since their beginnings into a worldwide enterprise. In 1986, Magnussen
expanded by entering the U.S. furniture market and became a leader in the
North American occasional furniture trade. Their success stems from their
focus on understanding their customer’s needs, not only for high quality
furniture, but also on high value and prompt delivery and service. Magnussen
Home has truly become a full line furniture company utilizing innovative
product development, attention to detail and quality control in manufacturing.
Furniture from Magnussen Home, whether a complete bedroom set or a single
occasional table, is manufactured with premium materials to high quality
standards. Each piece of furniture is designed to enhance the beauty and
functionality of your home while reflecting your style. |
| Magnussen Home warrants their furniture to be free
from all manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year from the date
of shipment to the customer. A photo image and detailed description of a
defect must be provided before the acceptance of any warranty claims. During
this warranty period, Humble Abode will, at our option, repair or replace
any such defect without charge except for transportation, shipping and handling
costs. A return merchandise authorization (R.M.A.) must be issued by us
before returning any merchandise. All returns must be suitably packed to
prevent further damage in the original Magnussen Home carton where possible.
This warranty applies under conditions of normal residential usage and does
not apply to consequential or incidental damage or defects caused by negligence,
misuse or abuse. This warranty does not apply if the product has been modified
or altered in any way after shipment. The use of natural materials may cause
minor variations to occur from piece to piece in color, texture or appearance.
This warranty does not cover such minor differences. |
| At Humble Abode, we are proud of the merchandise
we feature on our website. If you are not completely satisfied for any reason,
contact us within five (5) days of delivery and we will arrange pickup of
the item. Once the order has been prepared for shipping, the customer is
responsible for a 25% restocking fee and actual round trip shipping charges
incurred, if any. All returns must be authorized in advance by Humble Abode.
Humble Abode will arrange shipping for returning items and the shipper will
contact you to schedule pickup. Once the items are received back and inspected,
a refund will be issued. |
