Description
The Janis Bed by Hillsdale is a smartly scaled metal sleigh bed featuring 1 1/8" strap spindles that wrap around the top rail. The side legs have a gentle bend to accent the sleigh design theme. The Janis Bed consists of completely welded grills using 1 3/4" legs with a cast foot, 1 1/4" round rails and flat strap spindles. A textured black finish completes this striking bed. The Janis Bed by Hillsdale Furniture requires the use of a box spring in addition to a mattress.

Love the way it looks and fits into my bedroom. Instructions weren't accurate - specifying small screws (whicn were included but wouldn't reach far enough to secure the two pieces) - but enough large screws were provided to cover it. One foot was slightly bent and is still a bit crooked, but does not affect the overall stability of the bed. Overall I am very pleased with this bed and have received compliments on it.

Disappointed in quality control. Bed frame did not match headboard and footboard. Thankfully you do not see that after bedskirt is on. Footboard was damaged however after bedding is on you do not see that either. Response from consumer service has not been as advertised. Still waiting for a response on the credit promised. Bed is sweet once assembled and beautiful bedding pulled it all together. For a river cabin the look is perfect!

Very happy
The bed looks great and was not difficult for my husband and I to put together. It took less than an hour to assemble. It was delivered within a few days, but the delivery company left it on my doorstep, and I was not able to inspect it or sign for it, but luckily no damage so not a big deal. I love the way the bed looks, and it feels very sturdy, and is quiet. Very happy with the purchase.
