Stools come in different heights. What is the height of your counter?

• Stools with an average seat height of 26 inches are called Counter Stools and work best with a table height of 35 to 40 inches.
• Stools with an average seat height of 30 inches are called Bar Stools and work best with a table height of 41 to 43 inches.
• Also consider height adjustable stools for modern flexibility.

Combine design and comfort when choosing a bar stool. With the swivel bar stool, it's easier to get on and off. Most bar stools are available with standard 360 degree swivel. For added convenience, the memory swivel option will make sure your bar stool furniture is always aligned with the counter. Furniture bar stools with a footrest around the entire stool add comfort and safety. We recommend allowing 21 to 25 inches of counter width per barstool. Bar stools with arms are more comfortable, however, they do require more room allowance.
