The Cody Daybed with Trundle & Storage by Hillsdale Furniture is fun multi functional addition to any bedroom. The Cody Daybed features a bead board motif in a crisp sparkling white finish. The daybed itself is the foundation upon which the unit is built. Below the daybed, a roll-out drawer stores neatly out of sight when not in use. The drawer can be used as a trundle bed for extra sleeping space or as a large storage drawer for bedding, clothing, toys and more. A back bookcase unit behind the daybed has two large compartments for storage. On each side of the back bookcase unit sits a small bookcase cabinet with three shelves and even a hook to hang clothes. On one side of the daybed is a bed end chest with two wide deep drawers and an open shelf below. The other side of the daybed has a bookcase bed end chest offering two small front facing drawers with shelf storage behind and below the drawers. With all the storage options available, keeping clothes, toys, books and games neat and organized becomes a more manageable task! Cody Daybed
We bought this bed for our 5-year old daughter and it's a pretty bed. The end units to not attach to the daybed, so the end unit slides away, which is not what I expected, and make it hard to lean against the end unit while reading a book. We will probably try and rig up a home made solution to attach side storage units to daybed frame. The lack of physical attachment between the end units and the daybed frame is why I've given this 4 stars.
