The Clever Mates Platform Bed 3613 by South Shore will brighten up any child's room with it's light and airy natural maple finish that is complimented by the satin nickel metal handles. Two drawers below the bed are ideal for extra blanket and sheet storage and are equipped with full extension metal glides for smooth operation. The Clever Mates Platform Bed comes with an optional lateral storage unit for those that want extra space for books and ornaments. The lateral storage "headboard" fits lengthwise along the bed. Two sliding doors in the unit conceal the contents of the compartment they cover while two compartments on either side remain open. There are two pre-drilled holes in the back of the open cubbies to manage wires for clocks, charging stations or other electronic devices. The top of the storage unit has a back stop and can be used for storage or displaying treasures. Pair with the Clever Three Drawer Chest for a magnificent look to your child's bedroom. Very difficult assemble 2 adults required
This bed took to adults one of whom is a contractor with many years of experience. It took 3 hours just for the bed . Don't buy this it is just too hard to put together. Then the headboard arrived with several broken pieces leaving me to wonder if this will even hold up for long once we manage to assembly it.
