Bungalow Low Profile Bed by Ayca Furniture
The description for this bed states that you do not need a boxspring to go with the mattress. The number of slats that come with the bed are not close enough to support my King mattress. Know that you will need to have more slats made, use a boxspring, sheet of plywood, or box platform for mattress support. I bought a 6" box platform from the mattress store, and that raised my mattress height up to the level of the nightstands I bought to go with this bed. My mattress is only 13" deep, so if you buy the Bungalow nightstands to go with this bed, you will need a height of at least 18" on the mattress & support to be able to have the nightstand at your level when lying in bed.

quality of bedroom set
This bed was advertised as a platform bed and it is not!!!! It is a regular bed sent with 4 slats. I had to buy a boxspring which was an added expense. The quality and workmenship of this product was bad. The side rails would not fit into the headboard or foot board. The metal pieces were mounted crooked and the metal teeth were all bent. My night tables have a hidden locking draw and neither one locks. I would not recommend this product. I am VERY pleased with the service and help I got from Humble Abode. They are great and fast to respond. There shipment method is the best I have ever seen. I highly recommend them and it is not there fault that this products workmenship is bad. This was not a cheap item and not worth the price.
