Reminiscent of the Scottish branch of mission furniture design, and inspired by the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the Bungalow Wood Bed by Ayca Furniture is constructed of solid oak and oak veneers with a gorgeous hand rubbed polyurethane finish. The Bungalow Wood Bed is accentuated with a beautifully arched footplate and flared legs. Detailed slats on the headboard and footboard keep true to the arts and crafts furniture tradition. The Bungalow Wood Bed by Ayca Furniture does not require the use of a box spring. Matching collection items are available.

I must say the furniture was not at all what I expected. I thought it was at least mostly solid wood. When it arrived first of all it was very damaged. I then was able to see that there was a lot of pressed wood I guess that is what it is called. I had to refuse the entire order because it was all damaged. I will tell you that the people I dealt with were very helpful and kind, but the furniture was not good quality at all. I finally did get my refund in full but it took quite a few emails on my part to keep the process moving. It is a shame because I really loved the set from the pictures online. I will never again purchase anything online. Not a good move.
