Plush is a term used to describe a softer level of surface comfort or feel. In the case of an innerspring plush mattress, this softer feel is achieved by increasing the amount of cushioning and quilting that is on the plush top mattress and the type of fabric covering. A plush mattress feels softer than a firm mattress but somewhat firmer than a pillow top mattress.
