Full platform beds also called full size platform beds or double platform beds, are a great solution for outfitting kids rooms and guest bedrooms with a modern design at a very affordable price. A full platform bed does not require a box spring which often makes a double platform bed more affordable. The mattress rests on a wood slatted platform bed frame. Full platform bed frames typically do not have a footboard and are modern and contemporary style beds with straight clean lines.
